BUILDING RENOVATION – CREATION OF 3 RESIDENTIAL UNITS –
This ambitious full renovation project is set within a constrained built environment, requiring an approach that is both technical and sensitive.
The longitudinal volume, located on the northern side of the plot, has been preserved in its original position along the property boundary. Due to its state of deterioration and the impossibility of demolition and reconstruction, a complete structural rehabilitation was carried out from the inside, allowing its footprint to be maintained while ensuring its long-term durability.
The eastern volume, meanwhile, has been partially raised, in compliance with planning regulations and setback requirements relative to neighboring properties.
The project results in the creation of three residential units of equivalent size, offering generous volumes and a high quality of living. Each unit features an exposed timber frame, bringing warmth and character, as well as open views of the mountains and the surrounding landscape.
